Journalism or a hobby

Journalism or a hobby

Technically what I do may not be considered real journalism. I was 'first' qualified as a freelance journalist in the 1990s. I also do research, genealogy and history. Technically my journalism work is more like genelaogy. Two journalists for example,  British journalist Chapman Pincher who died recently. Nicky Hager, both use secret sources. So maybe techically they would be real journalists. I dont use any secret sources at all. I document everything and present my sources as part of my info. Like in genealogy. Cite your sources.
Genealogy is a hobby. No matter how many books you have written or how much money you make out of it, its still called a hobby. So when my enemies say, I am not a journalist, its just a hobby, maybe thats what they mean. Research and history, which is different from the official versions. What they call an amateur historian. My research is news, history, books, documented open sources. Research to most people would mean science.
I have written and continue to write lots of books. They are like reference books. History, genealogy and news. I have sent some of my manuscipts to a publisher in the UK. My enemies have sent "fake" porno manscripts, with no headings to the same publishers, pretending to be me. Publishers are not silly.  I do lots of blogging. Publishing blogs means sharing them lots. Public, not encrypted. Nothing to hide, no secret sources.
